how to build a skin care routine.

   HOW TO BUILD A SKINCARE ROUTINE 

 Skin Care Routine is that having a Daily  , Weekly , Monthly to prevent acne, dullness , ageing and maintain Healthy Skin .

 

DAILY:

This is your daily routine that consists of basic steps in the skincare routine. This consist of cleanse, tone/ exfoliate , treat, moisturize and protect. So the focus should be on using a Hydrating  , Non-Soap cleansers include Anti –Oxidants , SPF , Vitamin A derivatives and Moisturizer.

 

1.Cleansing-

Cleansing is the most important step in skincare routine. It helps in preventing Dirt , Sweat , Impurities , Oil and Bacteria away. Cleanse in a right way make your skin soft and supple . If not cleansed properly  ,  dirt and pollution accumulate at the surface of your skin and contribute to breakout , dehydration and  ageing.

Cleansing should be done with two steps  .  We should double cleanse our face this would help to remove dirt and dead skin cell to remove quickly and deep cleanses pores.

 

 

Double cleansing-

Double cleansing is a method of cleansing your face twice  .  First with an Oil- based cleanser than Water – based cleanser. The benefit of Double Cleansing is that the Oil based cleanser will remove make up, sunscreen  , excess oil and dirt. 

 

Oil based  Cleanser-

An Oil based Cleanser can remove oil based impurities like make up , dirt and excess oil.

How to Double Cleanse-

You can use any cleansing oil , lotion , gel , cream or you can also use makeup remover . Firstly apply oil based cleanser to your fingers then give a massage in a circular motion into your face for a minute . After that you  can use a wash cloth to wipe it off. Oil based cleansers get rid  of Sunscreen and other oily substances that build up on the skin . You can double cleanse only at night.

Water based Cleanser-

A water based cleanser is getting rid of first stuff and it remove sweat  , grime and fight extra layer of impurities. The ideal cleanser should be Sulphate free to avoid stripping the skin’s natural oil and won’t make it dry. 1.   Moisturized-

 Moisturizing helps lock skin’s  moisture by creating a barrier that prevent loss of moisture.  It is very important to moisturized skin it reduces skin problems. Moisturizing everyday reduces the chance of reducing dryness and excessive oiliness. Moisturizing helps your skin stay young. Moisturizing  your face helps you to look and feel younger. 2.  Sunscreen –

Always apply sunscreen no matter what sunscreen reduces the chance of many skin problems like aging  , hyperpigmentation ,  dark spots  and  sunburn .

 

UVA rays penetrate more deeply into your skin can cause wrinkles and premature skin.

UVB rays affect the surface of our skin  and responsible  for giving us a sunburn . They even cause cancer.

Sunscreen reduces your overall UV explosure and lowering the risk of skin cancer and sun damage  including melanoma prevention.

Always use sunscreen if you using anti – ageing products , without sunscreen , they can actually make your skin age.

   



 







3.  Eye cream-

Eye cream helps prevent common signs of aging. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.it can also reduce the appearance of dark circles . It can provide a hydration. It helps out even skin tone.

Always apply  eye products by patting in with your index finger . Since this is the thinnest tissue on the face  so we have to use the weekest finger and patt to avoid unnecessary pulling and tagging.

4.  Serum-

Face serums help shrink pores and increase cell turnover that further leads to minimization of large pores .They also  helps unclog pores and clear dirt . This  helps in reducing the formation of blackheads and whiteheads. It feels light on skin.it soothe sensitive skin.

 

Weekly:

 

1.  Exfoliate-

Exfoliation makes your skin  soft . Regular exfoliation can increase  collagen production . it also helps prevent clogged pores . it minimizing the appearance of fine lines and related sagging. Exfoliating your skin cells removes excess sebum, and opens clogged pores which reduce blackheads and acne. It’s best to exfoliate your skin 3-4 times a week.

Skin cells turn over every 28 days . as we age, this rate decreases , therefore, exfoliation becomes an important part of your skin care routine  to rejuvenate your skin .

 

2.  Face mask –

Face masks are great additions of your skin care routine. Masks can help hydrate sKin , remove excess oils and helps improve the appearance of pores .It deliver highly concentrated actives , vitamins and nutrients to the skin .

Face masks create a physical barrier that locks in beneficial ingredients It improve skin texture  . It brightens dark spots  . It absorbs excess oil. It hydrate and moisturized dry skin  .

 

 

 

 

Monthly:

 

1.  Chemical peels-

                A chemical peel usually a chemical  solution to remove layers of skin, revealing the more youthful  skin underneath . these can remove  or improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne , scars , uneven skin colouring and other skin problems

A chemical peel is  a restrorative cosmestic  procedure that reduce the signs of aging on your face.

In chemical peel  , you will apply a chemical solution to your skin. This solution removes the damage skin cells away  ,  leaves behind a healthy skin in their place.

 

 

Extras:

 

1.      ALWAYS REMOVE MAKEUP BEFORE BED.

2.      DON’T SMOKE.

3.      SAY NO PHYSICAL SCRUBS.

4.      ALWAYS MOISTURISED YOU FACE.

5.      STAY HYDRATED.

6.      EXFOLIATE ONCE A WEEK.

7.      CHANGE YOUR PILLOW CASE.

8.      REDUCE CAFFEINE  AND SALTS INTAKE.

9.      STICK TO A SIMPLE SKIN CARE ROUTINE.

10.   ALWAYS DO A PATCH TEST BEFORE APPLYING ANYTHING.

11.   AVOID JUNK INTAKE.

12.   DON’T OVER WASH YOUR FACE.

13.   INTRODUCE DOUBLE CLEANSING IN YOUR ROUTINE.

14.   NEVER SKIP SPF.

15.   CHOOSE PRODUCT ACCORING TO  YOUR SKIN TYPE.
